ORGANIC JAGGERY:

Jaggery has high nutritional value and therefore should be eaten regularly for healthy living. It has multiple health benefits and has high nutritional value and is often suggested by dieticians in the diet.

Sweetening Agent:There are plenty of natural and artificial sweetening agents available in the market, with our good old friend sugar at the top. But they are just plain sweeteners. How nice it would have been if such magnificent sweeteners could add some punch of taste too? The answer is in jaggery. The first benefit of jaggery is that it is rather a tastemaker and colour maker than being just a sweetener.

Energy Food: We know that carbohydrates, consumed with our food, give us energy on oxidation. The simpler the carbohydrate, the sooner the energy released. The second benefit of jaggery is that it is a more complex form of carbohydrate than plain sugar. So, it is digested and absorbed gradually and releases energy gradually. This provides with warmth and energy for a longer period, without harming the internal organs.

Cleansing Agent: You may think that what the hell this jaggery has to do with any sort of cleansing. But let us tell you that it is well proven benefit of jaggery. Jaggery effectively cleans the respiratory tracts, lungs, food pipe, stomach and intestines. It pulls out dust and unwanted particles from the body. It also helps in giving relief from constipation, perhaps due to presence of fiber in it.

Digestive Agent: This may sound strange but it is true and it has sufficient scientific explanation behind this. In India, it is recommended to take a few grams of jaggery after a heavy meal of after eating meat. This facilitates digesting. What happens is that jaggery activates the digestive enzymes and itself changes to acetic acid in the stomach. This speeds up digestion.

Source of Minerals: Unlike sugar, Jaggery is very rich in minerals, predominantly iron with traces of other mineral salts. While most of the iron in it comes through processing in iron vessels, the other minerals come right from the sugar cane juice, since this juice does not undergo refining or bleaching of any kind. So, jaggery is a very good source of minerals for the body.

Other Benefits:
Jaggery is prepared without the use of chemicals in its processing. It is rich in important minerals like salts, magnesium which strengthens our nervous system and helps to relax our muscles.
Jaggery with selenium acts as an antioxidant. The potassium and sodium present in it maintain the acid balance in the body cells and control the blood pressure in the body.
Jaggery is also rich in iron, and helps to prevent anemia. It also helps to relieve tension; take care of asthma because it has anti-allergy properties.

It is good for migraine and is good for girls to ease the cramps during their period.
It can remove all the blood clots from the body of a woman within 40 days after the birth of a baby.
It consists of moderate amount of calcium, phosphorous and zinc and therefore helps to purify the blood, prevent rheumatic afflictions and treat bile disorder. It is also helpful to cure jaundice.
Jaggery mixed with water is known to provide relaxation to the muscles, nerve and help in getting rid of fatigue.
Jaggery is also used as an ingredient in both sweet and savory dishes across India and Sri Lanka. For example, a pinch of Jaggery is sometimes added to sambar, rasam, and other staple foods in India. Jaggery added to lentil soups (dal) adds sweetness to balance the spicy, salty and sour components, particularly in Gujarati cuisine.
Jaggery is used in preparing toffees and cakes made with pumpkin preserve, cashew nuts, pea nuts and spices and desert like GajarkaHalwa and Chikki’s.
It helps to reduce the water retention in the body and eventually helps in controlling the body weight. Jaggery is a more complex form of carbohydrate than plain sugar. So, it is digested and absorbed gradually and releases energy gradually. This provides warmth and energy for a longer period, without harming the internal organs.

So, what are you thinking? No! It is not late yet. You can still switch on to jaggery from today. Just add it to your meal and feel the difference.

Still, it’s important to remember that Jaggery is still sugar; it will cause a blood sugar spike; it may not be appropriate for those with diabetes or blood sugar imbalances. Kindly consult your Doctor.

Organic Food

Make Money Without Investing. Daily 1$

Organic food is SAFER, more NUTRITIOUS and TASTES much BETTER than  normal food.

Organic foods are foods that are produced using methods of organic farming -- that do not involve modern synthetic inputs such as synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Organic foods are also not processed using irradiation, industrial solvents, or chemical food additives.

For the vast majority of its history, agriculture can be described as having been organic; only during the 20th century was a large supply of new chemicals introduced to the food supply.[10] The organic farming movement arose in the 1940s in response to the industrialization of agriculture known as the Green Revolution.

Organic Foods are those which are not only grown naturally but the seeds also are produced organically.. means, the seeds are taken and preserved directly from the respective grain crops. they are not sent to Lab to make genetic or biological changes.

so opt for Organic and be health.. and organic products are not that costlier as advertised by many companies. They are bit more as compared to normal products.

Be Organic Be Healthy....
